Kandice Mullis
Kandice grew up in rural Virginia surrounded by farmland, and grew a passion not only for animals, but for the outdoors.
She has volunteered with local animal shelters and horse stables since she was a child, growing to care deeply for the wellbeing of animals.
She also has held several professional animal care positions, caring for a variety of animals including cats, dogs, horses, llamas, alpacas, and other livestock animals.
After moving to Charlotte to further her education in environmental science, Kandice found Love in the Lead and joined the team in April 2022.
She plays an integral role in the daily care of our training and boarding dogs and also helps with our service dog puppy program. Kandice is also a Puppy Head Start trainer!
