McKenna Cranford
McKenna’s love for dogs developed at a young age, and she has been actively involved in the dog world for most of her life. She started out volunteering with animal rescues in middle school and started fostering animals in high school. She has a particular interest in helping dogs reach their full potential and is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of dog behavior and training.
McKenna self-trained her own service dog and is currently training her second successor dog. She believes that a well-rounded dog is the best kind of dog, and therefore, she and her dog participate in a wide range of dog sports, with focus on AKC agility, scent work, obedience, and hunting. She also has experience in the conformation field, learning about correct breed structure and function to allow dogs to perform to their best ability.
Currently, McKenna is working on obtaining a professional certification in dog training to further enhance her knowledge and skills. She is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest training techniques and methods, and she is always looking for ways to improve her craft. McKenna started as an intern in the Fall of 2022 and joined our team full time in January 2023. She currently helps care for both the training and boarding dogs and assists with some of the service dog training as well.
