Just like other reviewers, I’d give a million stars if I could. I can’t recommend Love in the Lead enough. Our sweet boy, Mark, was in the 4 week board and train program and the experience exceeded all of my expectations. Mark was scared of everything. He did not like going on walks and would get so overwhelmed he would freeze and tuck his tail so it would touch his stomach. He didn’t like going out in the back yard or ride in the car because everything scared him. The field trips he went on and skills he learned from Emma helped him become the bravest boy. We can walk him without being dragged or having him lunge at other dogs and people. He listens at home and is not destructive. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our experience, especially with Wesson’s trainer, Hannah! Wesson came home a completely different dog in the best way possible. The difference in his behavior has made our everyday life so much easier and I can now go on walks stress free. You can tell Love in the Lead genuinely loves the dogs they work with, and I felt completely comfortable having him return for daycare & boarding. It’s nice to have a place to leave him and know his training will be reinforced. From pictures and videos I was sent, I can tell he loved the 3 weeks he spent there.

Our pup, Mosley, completed the puppy training program at Love in the Lead in 2022, and we couldn’t be happier with the foundation they helped him build. Since then, we’ve received countless compliments when we’re out and about on his behavior, temperament, and how well he interacts with both people and other dogs. Every employee we’ve encountered over the years has shown such genuine passion for working with dogs, and safety is clearly always a top priority. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Love in the Lead Canine Training.  We sent our 1.5-year-old Doberman Pinscher to the three-week Board and Train program several years ago and had a wonderful experience.  So much so that when we recently got another Doberman puppy we immediately signed her up for the three-week Board and Train program without question.  Rebecca and her team are so helpful!  When our puppy was dealing with crate training and separation anxiety issues, Rebecca offered advice before she had met our puppy.  Our puppy learned A LOT at the three-week Board and Train program with Tessa as her trainer.  It was so great to see her at each of our check-ins, and we were so excited to bring her home.  Not only was the training valuable for our family it was valuable for our puppy too.  We can tell that she wants to please us and listen to what she learned. My dog Ranna is amazing, but she has a tough personality and doesn’t like to listen. I sent Ranna to the four week behavioral program so that I felt more comfortable letting her off her leash and taking her places, but also so she could get along better with my boyfriend’s dog. Emma did an amazing job training her (and then training me) and now I feel like I can finally breathe when I take Ranna out of the house. We’re still working on how she relates to other dogs, but my boyfriend and I have taken both of our dogs out and about for walks and hikes and they’ve done such a beautiful job listening to and trusting us, and being neutral around each other. I’m really grateful for everything Love the Lead has done and I know the skills Ranna learned will expand her life in ways I wasn’t capable of giving her before. Thank you guys!!!

My pup Nina has went to puppy and adult boarding there and she is the perfect adventure dog. The monthly group training is also super useful. Highly recommend to everyone!
