Gracie Clingenpeel

Gracie has always had a deep connection with dogs. Born in Indiana, she moved to Charlotte at a young age, where her love for dogs continues to grow. From the moment she welcomed her German Shepherd, Selene, into her life, Gracie knew that working with dogs was her true calling. She brings with her a military background, having served in an esteemed capacity. As a graduate of South Carolina Youth Challenge Cycle 42, Gracie demonstrated her commitment to discipline, integrity, and personal growth. Her achievements in this program were recognized when she was honored as the salutatorian of her class, an accomplishment that reflects her dedication and excellence in all she undertakes.

Gracie has dedicated the past three years of her life to honing her skills in various aspects of canine care. She gained valuable experience working at a local pet boarding and daycare facility, where she contributed to the well-being and happiness of countless canines. Her time in the dog care industry enhanced her understanding of canine behavior and deepened her knowledge of effective, safe handling and care.

Gracie joined Love in the Lead in December 2022 and plays an integral part in the daily care of both the training and boarding dogs.
