Tessa is a Charlotte native, growing up just outside of the city in the rural town of Stanley. Her enthusiasm for pets started at a young age, having personal pets as well as doing volunteer work at a former local spay and neuter clinic.
While in high school, Tessa started freelancing in-home pet care to friends and family, leading to her first job at a local dog daycare. During her time at the dog daycare, she progressed into the role of training coordinator. She also continued gaining training experience while working with another local dog training company, primarily working with the board and train program dogs, as well as behavioral modification cases. Tessa also has several years experience working in dog breeding facilities, gaining experience in whelping, puppy raising, and training.
Tessa’s goals are to continue gaining knowledge and experience working with and training a variety of dogs, while continuing to provide exceptional instruction and education to dog owners.
